We take pride in following the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for assessment of autism and ADHD. All of our autism assessments are carried out by a minimum of two experienced clinicians to ensure reliability. We use 'gold standard' recommended assessment tools and work as a team to reach our conclusions.
Our assessment process

Step 1: You attend an online initial consultation.

Step 2: You attend two diagnostic interviews and complete questionnaires. The interviews can be online or at our clinics in Wokingham (Berkshire) or Southampton (Hampshire).

Step 3: You attend an assessment (called the ADOS) either online or at one of our clinics in Southampton (Hampshire), Wallingford (Oxfordshire), Wokingham (Berkshire) or North Clapham (London).

Step 4: You complete a computer attention assessment at home.

Step 5 You attend an online follow up appointment to discuss the outcome of the assessment.

After assessment
​
You will receive a detailed report that includes your strengths, challenges and our recommendations. If a diagnosis is given, we will also provide a summary report to share with employers and education settings.
If a diagnosis of ADHD is provided, we are able to signpost you to our colleagues in private ADHD treatment services to explore medications. We can also offer post diagnostic support.
