Combined Autism and ADHD assessments for children
£2400
We take pride in following the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for autism and ADHD assessment. Our assessments are carried out by a minimum of two experienced clinicians to ensure reliability. We use 'gold standard' recommended assessment tools and work as a team to reach our conclusions. We offer assessments to children aged 6 and over.
Our assessment process

Step 1: Online initial consultation. Your child may wish to join this appointment, depending on their age.

Step 2: Two diagnostic interviews. These are usually parent only but older children may wish to attend.

Step 3: Your child attends an assessment in Wokingham (Berkshire), North Clapham (London) or Southampton.

Step 4: Your child completes a computer attention task at home.
Step 5: Questionnaires are completed by parents and your child's school/college (if applicable).

Step 6: We discuss all of the information that we have gathered and review any reports you have shared (e.g. school reports or mental health reports).

Step 7: You and your child attend an online follow up appointment to discuss the assessment outcome. If your child is quite young, you may wish to attend a parent only follow up session and discuss the outcome of the assessment with your child at a later date.

After diagnosis

You will receive a detailed report that includes your child's strengths, challenges and our recommendations. If a diagnosis of ADHD is provided, we will signpost you to our colleagues in private ADHD treatment services, if you would like to explore medications for your child. We can recommend coaches and psychologists who can offer post-diagnosis adjustment support.
